At Harrogate Karate we teach safe, non-contact martial arts. Our syllabus is centred around karate and self-defence. Karate is suitable for anyone of any fitness level from the age of five upwards. Master Janet McKenna, holds the rank of Black Belt 5th Dan and she is the Chief Instructor for Martial Arts For Life.
Our fun and friendly classes are ideal for the whole family. This is a great way to get fit while learning an ancient martial art which improves self-confidence, self-discipline and self-defense. Master McKenna is assisted in the Harrogate area by Miss Delaney, 3rd Dan Black Belt, Master Delaney McNulty 4th Dan Black Belt, Mrs Fenwick 2nd Dan Black Belt, Mr Grazier 3rd Dan Black Belt and Master Malik, 4th Dan Black Belt. Classes are held at Harrogate Squash & Fitness Centre, Woodlands Methodist Church, St Wilfred's Church & Killinghall Village Hall. Classes are also available in Knaresborough, Wetherby, Tadcaster and Leeds.
